This is one of the worst electronic devices I have ever owned. It was designed by idiots. Many of the control buttons have multiple functions. You have to remember which secondary functions each button has, and how many times you have to push it to activate the secondary functions, or how long you have to hold down the buttons to change features. It’s completely non-intuitive. I have to review the manual every time I try to use this thing. Even sections of the manual will leave you saying “huh?” on the first few reads. Then, when you do finally get it turned on and configured and head out on the highway, the ambient noise keeps turning on the voice-activated mic, even at its least sensitive setting. This is annoying to anyone you are riding with. Don’t waste a nickel on this piece of garbage! Customer Review: It does the job but it’s not reliable. I bought 3 sets for me and my friends for our 10 day motorcycle trip. I made the installations on a Nolan flipface, Arai flipface and a Shoei motocross fullface helmet. The success of installation depends on your abilities. I decided not to do as they said in the user manual and ended up with a much cleaner and less exposed installation. The extra fullface microphone kit we purchased was not necessary. The reason they sell this item is the limited mouth clearance on some helmets. If you have more than an inch between your mouth and the helmet wall, you don’t have to buy the full face kit. The one in the box will work. If you have a flipface helmet, you cannot use the fullface kit anyway. You will have to live with a microphone touching your lips all the time. But you get used to it. Do not remove the sponge wind protector. One of the guys lost his and it became hard to understand what he was saying.

Nady PMC-2X Driver-to-Passenger Motorcycle Intercom NADY DRIVER TO PASSNGER INTERCOM - Driver-to-Passenger Motorcycle Intercom Customer Review: Positive Product I think they work very well, especially considering the low price. Around town the wife and I have no problem communicating. On the highway (75-80 mph) it gets a little difficult to hear, but not impossible. I wouldn’t want to use them without a full face helmet though; with the visor up there is some wind noise in the microphone. They fit well in both our HJC and Joe Rocket helmets. Didn’t need to use the velcro, slid perfectly through the slot in the pad around the strap. We have used them three times and at this point I’d say the quality of the product is good, but time will tell how long they’ll hold up Customer Review: Great entry level communication system As an instructor at a driving school, I’ve used this Nady unit for a few years to communicate between driver and instructor through the helmets. It works fine, even in open cars. The controls work out well. The headsets are durable, even when the students rip the headphone out of their helmets by the cord. The headsets have actually lasted longer than the unit itself. The unit didn’t start to go out, it would create a loud screeching sound in which I had to hold onto the inputs in case it happened again. Now, about three years later, it works about 70% of the time. I keep it as a backup, but have since upgraded to a Chatterbox unit. But for the price, and length of time I’ve used the Nady unit, it has worked out well.

Greatest Extreme Tricks This collection of clips showing some of the world’s best extreme athletes performing tricks that seem either impossible or simply insane begins with something of a cautionary note as a battered dude in a hospital bed intones a list of injuries sustained when the big fun got a little too gnarly. But if hearing about such downers as a “bruised pancreas and a bruised bladder” doesn’t scare you off, there’s plenty of wild action coming. The clips feature “big wave surfing,” snowboarding, bmx bike jumping, skateboarding, and other extreme events. The tricks, which are almost always accompanied by throbbing rock music, tend to be spectacular feats of acrobatics, but an engaging aspect of the filming is that much of it was shot in totally ordinary circumstances. For instance, skateboarders are shown doing tricks not only on specially built ramps but on ordinary sidewalks, steps, and railings, and much of the material appears to have been shot with basic home video equipment. The action, spectacular as it might be, has a definite “do it yourself” feel to it. Of course, these tricks aren’t for amateurs, and big names in extreme sports, including Laird Hamilton, Danny Way, Biker Sherlock, Fuzzy Hall, and Christian Fletcher, gleefully show off their best stuff, along with some occasional injuries. –Robert J. McNamara Customer Review: its average I’d say this is a good movie if you like any skateboarding being done but it is kind of boring. it just shows you what to do kind of. its not bad.
