51MX4H953DL. SL160 BMX Trix & Techniques for the Track BMX Trix & Techniques for the Track Since emerging in the late 1960s and early 1970s, BMX has diversified into four disciplines: vert (ramp riding and dirt jumps), street, freestyle (or flatland), and, of course, the sport that started it all and gave the bikes their name: bicycle motocross, or racing. This installment in the action sports “Trix and Techniques” series imparts young riders and grizzly veterans alike with all the techniques they need to know if they re gonna throw down week after week at their local tracks. Loosely based on the concept set forth in the FMX Tricks and Techniques titles, this book will include a preamble featuring short bios and photos of several of today s top male and female riders in the NBL and ABA points races. The meat of the book, however, will be step-by-step photo sequences accompanied by captions to illustrate and explain the fundamentals behind getting out of the gate, negotiating bumps, berms, and jumps, and even tweaking bikes and equipment for optimum performance.

Customer Review: A must have for the BMX racer
I have 3 boys and a husband that race BMX for many years now. This was gift for my oldest son, 12. It gives some good pointers that helps in his racing. All the kids ended up reading it too. I like buying my kids books on things they enjoy doing and that can help them become better at it too.
