i bought this bike because i wanted to try out the larger 29 inch wheels without spending a fortune. the price was right. out of the box the bike requires a bit of assembly but it’s not too bad. i was really surprised at the high quality of the frame. the frame drop outs look like belonged on a bike costing a lot more. the components are okay, i’ll probably upgrade the fork. the ride is what impressed me most. i can see how the larger wheels help you go over bumps and rocks easier. i’m really happy with this bike and will probably upgrade components as needed. highly recommended for the price.

arrived with no instructions - luckily I am handy enough to know how to put it together - the rear derailleur was bent and the front had issues as well - of course I didn’t know this until I spent 30 minutes putting it together - not sure if damaged in shipment or just shoddy engineering but I am returning for refund in any case - stear clear of this one

Customer Review: Excellent bike
This bike is a great high-end bike at a walmart price. This is lighter than my daughter’s 20″ bike, and very smooth with the full suspension. I am not an avid biker, and will only use on the trails, but looks to be able to take whatever I could dish out. The seat post issue was a familiar one as noted by other reviewer, and what I have done is to take a hack saw and saw off about 3 inches from the bottom of the seat post, which allows you to lower the seat by, you guessed it, an extra 3 inches. Customer Review: Seatpost too long for size small
I bought size small (16″) but the seatpost is the same for all sizes (300 mm). Even at its lowest position, the seat is at least 32 inches from the pedal. I contacted Schwinn but they could not help me on this issue. A 250 mm seatpost would be ideal for size small. No other complaints so far.
