The wrong size bike was shipped. It was left while I was out. The shipping carton was smashed and taped up. I refused to open this box and had it shipped back for a full refund. No replacement.
Customer Review: Fenders badly dented– not packaged well
Well, the bike itself was fine, shipped to be assembled. Unfortunately, the badly packaged fenders, loose in the box with the other parts with just some very thin cardboard around them, got badly dented. And, of course, you can’t return just the fenders, but have to return the entire bike. Of course, they way the bike is packed isn’t going to change so the chance of getting more dented fenders is high. I was offered reimbursement by Amazon to go out and buy my own replacement fenders, however they had to be the exact same fenders. As you can guess, they are not to be found anywhere. So, I’m just buying my own replacement fenders, of higher quality, and taking the loss. Otherwise, I’d have to send the whole bike back and likely get another set of dented fenders.
